Application Checklist

  • There is an application fee of $75 per student. Payment can be made here.

  • After clicking the "APPLY HERE!" button, you will be prompted to create a free TADS account. This will act as your portal for enrollment and tuition.

  • Documents are required for your application. You will be asked for:

    • A copy of your child’s birth certificate

    • A copy of your child’s baptismal certificate, if applicable

    • A copy of your child’s last report card for children entering grades 1 – 8

    • A copy of your child’s latest standardized test scores for children entering grades 3 – 8 (optional)

    These documents can be emailed to marie.reid@rescatholicschool.org

  • In most cases, we will inform you of the admission decision within one week of receiving your application.

Admissions Criteria

Transitional Kindergarten students must be 4 years of age by September 1st of the school year for which they are enrolling. For example, children should be 4 years old by September 1st, 2024 for the 2024/25 school year.

Please note that the State of California changed the incoming age requirement for Kindergarten students. Students must be 5 years old by September 1st, 2024 to be eligible for Kindergarten in the 2024/25 school year.

Resurrection School Admission Policy

Resurrection Catholic School, a Catholic school in the Diocese of San Jose, mindful of its mission to be a witness to the love of Christ for all, admits students of any race, color and national and/or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and/or ethnic origin, age, sex, or disability in the administration of educational policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs. Resurrection School does not unlawfully discriminate against any applicant for employment on the basis of sex, age, disability, race, color and national and/or ethnic origin.

If the number of applications received for any given class will cause the number of students to exceed the approved limits, then they will be placed on a waiting list.

All new students shall be on probation for a period of one year to establish their academic ability, behavior, and ability to study in the Catholic Christian environment of Resurrection School.

Students who are functioning at an academic level two years below their grade will not be admitted or re-enrolled.

Following the stated policy, decisions on admission shall be made by the school principal.

Students are admitted to Resurrection School based on the parents’ understanding and acceptance that their children will be receiving a Catholic education that meets the mission and philosophies described within the Resurrection School handbook.
