Parent & Staff Committees
To ensure our families have a place to voice their thoughts and ideas about our school and activities, we have multiple committees available to both parents and staff. We encourage parents to join these committees in order to find a reliable space to communicate with our administration, as well as to brainstorm new ideas and improvements for best catering our school experience to our community.
Parents are more than welcome to join multiple committees. Currently, the committees available to join are:
School Advisory Council
The School Advisory Council (SAC) includes Mrs. Wright, staff, and parents. The Council acts in an advisory role and provides recommendations regarding long-term planning for the school with respect to the school’s financial stability, facilities, development, technology, enrollment, curriculum, and program.
Finance Committee
The role of the Finance Committee is to assist Mrs. Wright with the school budget setting process, the long-term planning process, and the tuition setting process. This committee includes parents, staff members and Mrs. Wright.
Enrollment Committee
The role of the Enrollment Committee is to assist Mr. Tanzi in researching, brainstorming, and executing activities related to recruitment, retention, and marketing. Parents may be asked to perform duties off campus, such as distributing flyers for school events or talking to prospective families at outside recruitment events.
Parent Teacher Group (PTG)
The most widely known group is the Parent Teacher Group (PTG). Every parent/guardian becomes a member of the PTG when they join our community. A smaller committee (board) of parents, staff members and Mrs. Wright work together on fundraising for the school, fostering a strong community via social events, and to promote parent education.
