Ms. Anderson’s Biography
Ms. Anderson was born in the East Bay Area of California, and she currently lives in Fremont.
She attended California State University, East Bay for her undergraduate degree, and then University of San Diego for her master’s. She then received her teaching credential from Santa Clara University.
This is Ms. Anderson’s 20th year teaching. She previously taught for six years at a private school in the East Bay. Over that time, she taught English and English Honors for 7th through 12th grade. She has now been at Resurrection for 14 years.

Ms. Anderson’s favorite part of teaching is when students have the “ah-ha!” moment. Her favorite part of Resurrection the philosophy of educating the whole child, helping students gain leadership skills, and teaching students on a social and emotional level-not just academic.
A quote that resonates with Ms. Anderson’s life and teaching style is “Be kind, work hard, stay humble, smile often, stay loyal, be honest, travel when possible, never stop learning, love always.”
In her free time, Ms. Anderson enjoys reading, planning trips, and all things Disney! This year, she is most looking forward to working with our dedicated staff, families, students, and supporters.
