Mrs. Claudia Hall
Kindergarten Teacher
Has been teaching at Resurrection since: 2010
Education: BA in Multicultural Studies, California Teaching K-4 Credential, Texas Teaching Credential, Catechist Certificate
Why did you choose to teach at Resurrection?
I attended Resurrection as a student and when I was asked to interview from a fellow colleague I felt right at home and really wanted to teach at my alma matter because it is the place to be.
How do you inspire students to enjoy learning?
I inspire the students to enjoy learning when I really get a connection with them. If you talk to them about what they like and receive a trust with them they want to enjoy learning.
If you were stranded on a deserted island with just one thing, what would it be?
If I was on an island I would want to have my pictures of my family to look at every moment I’m alone.
What are some of your interests?
I love volleyball – both coaching and playing.
What are your favorite moments with a student?
My favorite moment with a student is when they have an “aha” moment and they get what it was they were struggling with.
What do you enjoy most about teaching?
I love helping the students learn new things every day. I especially like to watch them learn new things on their own with the iPads.
