Parent Communication Guide
Families stay strongest when school and home share the same calendar, the same expectations, and the same lines of contact. This guide explains how Resurrection Catholic School keeps parents informed without adding noise to your week.
Morning routines and arrival
Most classrooms begin the instructional day shortly after morning assembly. If your child will be late or absent, call the school office at (408) 245-4571 before 8:30 a.m. so attendance stays accurate. Written notes still matter for extended absences, and the office can tell you which form fits your situation.
Email, phone, and in-person questions
Teachers answer email during prep windows, so a same-day reply is common but not guaranteed on heavy event weeks. Start with the classroom teacher for homework, behavior in class, or small schedule changes. The front office routes billing, medical forms, and all-school announcements.
SchoolSpeak, newsletters, and the website
SchoolSpeak carries hot lunch balances, forms, and some teacher updates. The parish and school websites post PDF calendars, tuition dates, and admissions events. Bookmark the school home page for slider announcements, then use Quick Facts when you need a fast overview of programs and class sizes.
Admissions and new-family onboarding
If you are touring or enrolling, keep the How to Apply checklist open alongside your email. That page lists testing windows, interviews, and records the office must receive before a seat is held.
When in doubt, call the office. A quick conversation prevents mixed signals and keeps your student focused on learning.
