Presentation of New Flags
Resurrection School parents Michael and Johanna Montgomery graciously donated a new American and California flags to the Sunnyvale school. On the day before Veteran’s Day, the Montgomerys, who have both served our country in the military and come from proud military families, made the presentation to the school community. They also showed students how to properly fold the US Flag so that no red is showing and how to apply the same type of folding technique to the smaller California flag. The couple has taken possession of the old flags and they will teach the girls from Resurrection Girl Scout Troop 60239 how to properly dispose of the flag with honor early next year.
