Mrs. Maureen Kane

Kindergarten Instructional Aide 
Has been at Resurrection since: 1990

Mrs. Kane has been at Resurrection School since 1990. She was the Extended Care Director until 2017 and is now a full-time Instructional Aide in the Kindergarten classroom. When asked what she likes best about working for Resurrection, she replied, “the children!”

Mrs. Kane was born in Oakland, California. She is married to Greg and has four children, and seven grandchildren. Outside of school, Mrs. Kane enjoys hiking and walking with her husband and their dog, A.J. and her daughter’s dog, Miley.

Her favorite children’s book is The Rainbow Fish. As she explained, “It teaches the children to share and love themselves.” When asked who she admires the most, she replied, “My parents. Because as I grow older and wiser, I realize how smart they really are and how much they have taught me.”

The best advice she was ever given is to treat others the same way you would like to be treated.
